It can be a real struggle to stay focused on training. There are so many distractions in life and it can be easy for things to come up. When they do martial arts training and other extracurricular activities can be the first to go. But maintaining a good and consistent training schedule is important. Below are ten tips that can help motivate you to keep training.
  1. Set a schedule and stick to it. No excuses period.
  2. Find a training partner. You will keep each other in check.
  3. Make training fun. Make sure to have fun during training.
  4. Play mental games to keep focused.
  5. Set targets that you want to accomplish
  6. Reward yourself after you reach goals.
  7. Tell people about what you do and why you do it so that they hold you accountable.
  8. Think of training as a necessity to life instead of a secondary activity.
  9. Encourage your friends to come try it.
  10. Never lose focus on why you are doing it.
